1/35 French EBR-10 Wheeled Reconnaissance Vehicle of 4th Foreign Regiment

Panhard EBR (Designed: 1951  Produced: 1954 )

The Panhard EBR was considered the successor to the Panhard 178. With over 1200 being produced and used worldwide.  It differed from its previous ARV in that it used an 8-wheel suspenson as opposed to the tradtional 4-wheeled suspension normally seen beforehand.  This gave the EBR much better off-road maneuverability compared to the previous models, and the middle four tires could be raised for on-road travel.  It also featured the novel oscillating turret found on tanks like the AMX-13 90

The Panhard EBR was significantly faster then its predecessor, it could reach speeds of up to 100kph, which enabled it to bring its heavier firepower to bear where needed, and preform its reconnaissance role exceptionally well.

The EBR was initially armed with a 75mm FL-10 cannon.  and was later upgraded to a 90mm FL-11.  It also sported up to as many as 4 MG's at any one time, giving it exceptional anti-personnel capabilities as well as anti-armor.

The model is from Hobby Boss - No. 82489. Made from box without any extras. Painted with acrylics paints and pigments from AK Interactive.

1/35 Soldiers of 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar

The 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS "Handschar" (1st Croatian) was a mountain infantry division of the Waffen-SS. From March to December 1944, it fought a counter-insurgency campaign against communist-led Yugoslav Partisan resistance forces in the Independent State of Croatia. It was given the title Handschar (BosnianHandžar) after a local fighting knife or sword carried by Ottoman policemen during the centuries that the region was part of the Ottoman Empire. It was the first non-Germanic Waffen-SS division, and its formation marked the expansion of the Waffen-SS into a multi-ethnic military force.
The figures are from Dragon set 6067 in 35 scale. The figures were painted by acrylics paints and placed on self made base.

Legionary of Legio I Flavia Minerva, 193-211 A.D.

Legio I Minervia was a legion of the Imperial Roman army founded in AD 82 by emperor Domitian, for his campaign against the Germanic tribe of the Chatti. Its cognomen refers to the goddess Minerva, the legion's protector. There are still records of the I Minervia in the Rhine border region in the middle of the 4th century. The legion's emblem is an image of goddess Minerva.
Legio I Minervia first, and main, camp was in the city of Bonna, in the province of Germania Inferior. In 89, they suppressed a revolt of the governor of Germania Superior. Due to this, Domitian gave them the cognomen Pia Fidelis Domitiana (loyal and faithful to Domitian) to acknowledge their support.
